The idea behind MerSea Designs was to create something fun, yet definitively Catholic in design. Sharing your faith, and glorifying God, all without saying a word. Wearing your faith literally on your sleeve.
It all started with the Catholic "Hawaiian Shirt", something that could be worn to mass, then straight to the street-corner rosary rally. Something a bit more elevated than just a t-shirt, something with buttons and a collar, with a fun, yet Catholic design.
Mer Sea Designs offers Catholic apparel and accessories made of high-quality, premium materials.
Each item features artwork printed using a print-on-demand (POD) method; Meaning we don't keep a huge inventory of items in warehouses, instead our products are made when you order. Which helps us all reduce waste in our landfills and oceans. Making us all better stewards of God's green earth.
Each item is made to order for every customer.
Our recycled fabrics meet the OEKO-TEX 100 standard and are Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified. Our clothing lines are made of eco-friendly, high-performance fabric, in a size range that goes to 6XL.

MerSea Designs is all about - reflecting our faith in everything we do and everywhere we go. Evangelize, without even saying a word. Quite literally wearing our faith on our sleeves.
Why are we so outspoken about our Catholic faith? It's because we are in love with our faith and want to share that love!
We want to reassure our supporters that when they choose to buy from us, their money will not be funneled into anti-Catholic efforts. Unfortunately, many businesses today support causes that stand in opposition to Catholic teachings.
When you shop with us you are supporting a large family (not a large corporation) that lives and believes in the same values as your family. You're also supporting a small family apostolate that donates a portion of its earnings towards pro-life and pro-Catholic organizations.

About Us
Welcome to MerSea Designs! We are a Catholic, family-owned apostolate based in sunny Southern California and dedicated to sharing our Faith through Fashion for the greater glory of God. Our name is a playful nod to the ocean we love {inspired by Christina's love for the sea} and a tribute to the daily gifts of Grace and Mercy we receive.
Led by designer (and self-proclaimed mermaid) Christina Chidley, we balance our addiction to summer fun, with a deep devotion to faith and family. Based in landlocked reality, but with a saltwater soul, Christina, balances her time between her growing family, teaching catechism with her homeschool co-op, creating awesome designs, and being a Son Chaser (as well as a sun-chaser).
