MerSea Designs is a small family apostolate, not a large corporation. We started this journey because we are in love with our Catholic faith and wanted a way to share that love through beautiful, well-crafted fashion.

About Us
MerSea Designs is a Catholic, family-owned apostolate based in sunny Southern California, on a mission to build a Culture of Life — one beautiful garment at a time.
Our name is a playful nod to the sea we love, and to the daily gifts of grace and mercy that carry us. Led by designer (and self-proclaimed mermaid) Christina Chidley, we're a family balancing an addiction to summer fun with a deep devotion to faith and family.
Landlocked in reality, but with a saltwater soul, Christina splits her time between her growing family, homeschooling, and being a Son-chaser (as well as a sun-chaser).
We call it Coastal Catholic — a new kind of evangelization. There's a unique peace at the shoreline: between the rhythmic pull of the tide and the vastness of the horizon, it's hard not to feel the presence of God the Creator. The beauty of the ocean is a direct reflection of His glory — and we believe our faith shouldn't be left at the door when we put on a swimsuit.
Every MerSea piece is made to order — printed, cut, and sewn just for you. No overproduction, no landfills full of unsold shirts. Just high-quality apparel that lets you "wear your faith" wherever the waves take you, and "live in the light" — to be salt and sol for everyone around you.
